300 Sir George Dashwood
Constituency : Buckinghamshire 1832-5, Wycombe 1837-62
George was the son of a landowning Tory baronet and MP. He was educated at Eton and Oxford. He displeased his father by joining the Whigs and supporting the Reform Bill. He got in at Buckinghamshire under those colours in 1832 but was defeated in 1835. He returned for Wycombe in 1837. In 1839 he was fined as part of a crowd at a cock fight. He succeeded his father in the baronetcy in 1849.
George did not speak in the Commons.
He died in 1862 aged 71.
