302 Sir John Davie

Constituency :  Barnstaple  ( 1859-65 )

Sir  John  was  the  son  of  Henry  Davie,  MP  for  Haddington  ( see  post  32 )

John  was  a  Grenadier  Guards  officer  who  fought  in  the  Crimea.

John  succeeded  his  father  to  his  baronetcy  in  1885.

He  died  in  1907  aged  76.
