133 Charles Pascoe Grenfell
Constituency : Preston 1847-52, 1857-65
Charles was the son of a copper master and MP for Penryn in the 1820s. He was educated at Harrow and Oxford. Charles was also a railway director between 1846 and 1848 . He was a director of the Bank of England between 1830 and 1864. He lost the seat in 1852 but regained it in 1865.
Charles remained a backbencher and spoke only once , in his last year in Parliament , on the army estimates.
He died in 1867 aged 76.
