Constituency : Harrogate and Knaresborough 2024-?

Tom's  was  the  first Libral  Democrat gain  of  the  night  in  2024 , re-taking  Harrogate  and  Knaresborough, lost  since Phil Willis  stepped  down  in  2010. 

Tom  was  boen  in  Knottingley  where  his  mother  sits  as  a  councillor. He  studied  biochemistry at  Newcastle University and  has  a  Masters  degree  in  public  health from  the  same  institution. He  also  at  for  one  year  on  Newcastle  City  Council.He  has  worked  in  research at  the  University  of  York.and  the  charitable  sector. He  became  leader  of  the  Liberal Demorat  group  on  Wakefield  City Council. In  2019 he  stood  for  Normanton , Pontefract and  Castleford  coming  fourth  though  improving the  LD  vote. In 2021  he  stood  n  the  Batley  and  Spen  by-election  coming  fourth.

Tom  is  a  gay man.
