Constituency : Eddisbury 2015-19 ( Conservative ), 2019
Antoinette was the final Brexit rebel to cross over from the Conservatives following a motion of no confidence in her local Conservative aassociation.
She was born in London and went to the University of Nottingham . She practiced criminal law as a barrister for 13 years then moved to North Wales to run the family farming and property company. She became involved in Welsh politics and contested Delyn in 2010. She was elected to the Welsh Assembly in 2011, resigning her seat when winning Eddisbury in 2015. She was one of the rebels who blocked Boris Johnson's No Deal threats on Brexit.
Antoinette decided to fight Eddisbury as a Liberal Democrat, coming third but improving the LD vote share by 12%. .
In 2020 she was treated for breast cancer, apparently successfully. She has recently been involved in a privacy dispute with a Cambridge academic researching an ancestral link to the slave trade.
