Daisy's victory in St Alban's was the best news of the night in 2019.
Daisy was born in Bury St Edmunds.She got her first degree at Leeds and a Masters at Nottingham. She worked for Voluntary Services Overseas.
Daisy stood for Suffolk Coastal in 2010 coming second. In 2014 , she stood for president of the Liberal Democrats coming second.. In 2015, she stood in MId Sussex coming fourth. She first stood for St Alban's in 2017 restoring the Liberal Democrats to second place.
Daisy had long been regarded as an effective campaigner and became Deputy Leader in 2020. She has held a number of portfolios but currently speaks on health.
Daisy is a humanist.
