Harry  took  Falkirk  Burghs  from  the  Liberal  Unionist  William  Sinclair  with  a  majority  of  639  having  failed  to  beat  him  by  19  votes  in  1886.

Harry  was  defeated  in  1895  by  253  votes.

He  died  in  1910  aged  81.
