Sir  Thomas  was  a  Whig  baronet  who  succeeded  his  father  in  the  seat.

He  was  High  Sherriff  of  Worcestershire  from  1851  to  1852. In  the  1860s  he  was  on  the  Standing  Orders  Committee.

He  died  in  1872  aged  60.
