Henry was the son of an American banker. He was educated at Eton and Oxford. He was a partner in Barings and a director of London and Westminster Bank. He was Henry Brand's son-in-law.
Henry never spoke in Parliament.
Henry was defeated in 1886.
He died on his 82nd birthday.
