Lord  Douglas  took  over  from  William  McCombie  at  Aberdeenshire  West.

Lord  Douglas  was  the  younger  brother  of  the  Marquess  of  Huntly. He  was  a  lieutenant  in  the  Coldstream  Guards.

Lord  Douglas  never  spoke  in  Parliament.

He  died  in  1888  aged  36.
