Christopher  replaced  Joseph  McKenna  at  Youghal.

Christopher  was  the  son  of  the  MP  for  Wolverhampton, Thomas  Weguelin. He  was  educated  at  Harrow  where  he  was  a  keen  cricketer. He  went  on  to  Cambridge.

Christopher  was  unseated  due  to  bribery  in  1869.

He  died  in  1881  aged  43.
